PROJECTS
Working in local news means shorter stories and bigger interests among community players. Despite this, my work has grown with a polymathic approach into an appetite for numerous subjects across different media. Having the tenacity to secure a winning photo or the determination to interview difficult sources have been among the boldest factors in producing my best works over the years.

JOURNALISM TO THE STARS
Growing up in Los Angeles with an allure to film and television brought me close to a wide variety of artists and professionals of all stripes. From painters to musicians, astronauts to activists, cosplayers to Academy Award-winning directors, there was never a dull moment working in Southern California.
ADVOCATE FOR LOCAL NEWS
The endangered existence of local news across the nation requires more journalists to pay ever greater attention to local matters. Obstacles in reporting has, throughout my career, fomented stronger senses of skepticism and independence necessary to look at local matters with any sense of sober clarity.

POLITICS AND ELECTIONS
Growing up with a passion for American history and United States presidents, I have had chances in my career to witness and cover electoral politics in action. At MassLive, I dived deep into covering national politics on the local level, from the Republican primary in New Hampshire to the general election in November. The arrival of a second Trump administration left me with the chance to continue reporting on politics and the issues affecting Massachusetts from the impacts on higher education to detainments by immigration agents.

PROJECTS
My professional journey has rewarded me with opportunities to go beyond my goal of political journalism. It has brought me to cover community news, campus bureaucracy, significant figures and niche establishments. Below are a sampling of projects with which my passions and basic reporting came together in a perfect symphony.
